The building is located in Fargo’s historic Machinery Row, a line of buildings that serviced the implement needs of the farming community from the 1920s to the 1940s. The building was renovated and added on to in the early 1990s by the former owner. Kiefer’s renovation in 2002 cut a 1,000 square foot opening between the 1st and 2nd floors and added a grand staircase to allow shoppers easy access to 2nd floor shopping. Kiefers has plenty of free on-site parking.
